A small but select number of Bicester AC athletes contested the latest round of the Chiltern Cross Country League held at Milton Keynes on Saturday 13th February. Max Nicolle finished an excellent 4th out of the 67 finishers in the under 13 boy’s race clocking 10mins 11 secs. Nicolle was the leading finisher in the division 2 race. Nicolle’s teammate Samuel Worfolk placed 39th with 11mins 36secs placing him 10th in the division 2 race.
Millie Couzens is having a fine cross country season and she continued her recent good form with another fine run in the under 13 girl’s race placing 4th out of the 73 finishers clocking 10mins 47secs. Couzens was 3rd in the division 2 race and finished a very competitive 4th in the final division 2 overall standings.
Amy Gould has performed well in her first season in the under 15 age group and she again performed well for 21st in the 63 strong field clocking 13mins 02 secs. She placed 4th in the division 2 race and was 5th in the final overall division 2 standings. Molly Acton was 49th in the same race with a time of 14mins 21secs which placed her 19th in the division 2 race and 15th in the final overall standings.
Bicester’s other competitors were Amy’s brother Tom who was 29th in the under 17 race timed at 23mins 02secs and Imogen Cox who was 40th in the under 11 girl’s race timed at 5mins 49secs.
