Haul of medals for Bicester athletes at 10 Step / 5 Star Meeting

A group of dedicated athletes attend the Oxford City Clubs annual 10 step / 5 Star competition on Saturdays.

There were many fine performances of the day culminating in a fine haul of medals for the Bicester squad.

The first to grace the podium were Iona James in the U9 ten step who gained an 8 Step certificate and a bronze medal. Following her onto the podium was Redford Curtis with an 8 Step certificate and a silver medal in the boys competition.

Baz Owen had a good day in the U11 competition gaining a 4^th place and a 5 star certificate. Freddie Jackson, also competing in the U11 competition gained a 4 star and a bronze medal.

Jackson Curtis won a silver medal and a 5 star certificate in the boys 12 competition. He was followed by Henry Owen in the U13 competition who gained a 5 star certificate and a gold medal. Not to be outdone Josh Cussell completed the boys tally of medals by gaining a silver medal in U14 competition and a 5 star certificate.

Alice McGill competed in her last 5 star competition in the U15 girls age group and finished in grand style with a 5 star certificate and a silver medal.

There were several more deserving performances on the day, Amber Goodwin with a pb in the discus, Frank Harrision 4 star , Hannah Mitchell 4 star, Elliot McDonnell 4 star and Emily McDonnell 5 star.
