Founded in 1982 we are predominantly a junior Track & Field and Cross Country club but can cater for all ages, incorporating all abilities and both sexes.  You can be competitive or just join to keep fit or for relaxation. If you have always wanted to have a go but have never quite taken the plunge, then why not come and join us? Non-athletes who would like to get involved in administration, coaching or officiating are also very welcome.

Youth Development League – Nuneaton (21st May)

Bicester AC’s athletes put up a sterling effort in their 2nd round UK Development Midland Division North and East C match held last Saturday in Nuneaton.   Nine Bicester athletes made the trip covering the full programme of track and field events in the boy and girl under 13 and 15 age groups.   In the event they amassed an impressive 160 point haul to place 4th out of the 6 competing teams.  During the afternoon an impressive 18 personal bests were set by Bicester...

Oxon & Bucks County Championships – Horspath (14th & 15th May)

There was a good turnout of Bicester AC athletes for last weekend’s Oxfordshire Track and Field Championships held at Horspath, which were combined with neighbouring county Buckinghamshire.  Bicester won five Oxfordshire County gold medals, three of which were won by the Rayson brothers, as well as striking gold in the Bucks Championships. Youth Development League – Leicester (8th May)

Bicester AC finished a very competitive 2nd in last Sunday’s Youth Development League Midland Division North and East C match held in Leicester.  Given the distance of the venue from Bicester there was a decent turnout on the day and only Coventry Godiva were stronger than Bicester of the 6 competing clubs. Olivia Naidu - Johnson had not competed on the track since 2019 when still an under 11.  She performed superbly on the day producing the fastest time of the day in the under 13...

Oxon Junior League – Oxford (1st May)

There was a strong turnout of Bicester AC athletes for last Sunday’s first round of the Oxfordshire Junior League fixture held at Horspath.  There was a mixture of track and field debutants, national grade performances and personal bests.  Several of the athletes were competing in their second track and field meet of the weekend. Heart of England League – Redditch (30th Apr)

Bicester AC were involved in a double header over the weekend where the first of two track and field meetings took place on Saturday.  Bicester were up against 6 other team in their division 3 Heart of England match held in Redditch.  Several of the Bicester athletes were due to compete in the Oxfordshire League the following day. Motivation Series Round 1 – Charlton on Otmoor (28th Apr)

Three Bicester AC athletes contested the first round of the longstanding motivation road running series held last Thursday at Charlton on Otmoor.  It was run over the unusually contested distance of 5.2 miles attracting a field of 318 runners.  Edward Jolliffe has just enjoyed a very successful move up to longer distances during last Winter’s cross country season and was among the front runners.  He finished a commendable 22nd in the main field  and was also 2nd male under 19 finisher clocking...

Oxon and Bucks Midweek Open – Oxford (27th Apr)

Three Bicester AC athletes contested the Oxon and Bucks Midweek Open track and field meeting held last Wednesday at Horspath.  There were eight heats of the 100 metres with runners put into heats based on previous times.  George Weston found himself in the fastest heat won by a Swansea athlete in a sub 11 second time.  This was Weston’s maiden effort of the season so he performed well to clock his 3rd  fastest ever time over the distance (12.01secs).  Weston also ran...

Finley Colverson-Martin has been very active in the opening weeks of the new track season.  He finished an excellent 2nd in his heat of the 3,000 metres in the recent Wycombe Invitational open meeting.  Colverson-Martin’s time represented an improvement of nearly 14secs on his previous best and is a national grade 4 under 17 time.  Bicester’s Anna Jolliffe finished 2nd in her 3,000 metre heat in 11mins 10.8secs.  Colverson-Martin achieved another national grade 4 clocking...
