Bicester AC’s Erlgean Appiahkorang-Mensah made an extraordinary debut over 400m hurdles in the recent Brewer Games held in Gloucester. Appiahkorang-Mensah has only just moved up to the under 17 category and was against two other under 17 athletes. Undaunted, Appiahkroang-Mensah produced a superb sub 60 second clocking to win in 59.11secs, an excellent time for a first year under 17 and an EA PB level 8 clocking. Appiahkorang-Mensah also smashed the previous club record set by Edward Burgess in 2011.
