After the bumper turnout of Bicester AC runners the previous weekend just nine Bicester AC runners contested round 4 of the Chiltern League Cross Country event held last Saturday at Keysoe.  With one event to go Bicester retain strong second places in the under 15 boy’s and under 13 girl’s division 2 team events.

Anna Joliffe again ran well in the under 13 girl’s race finishing 17th in the mob match combining division 1 and 2 runners.  Jolliffe finished 5th amongst the division 3 competitors clocking 12mins 37secs for the 2.5k course.   

Edward Jolliffe headed the four Bicester runners contesting the under 15 boy’s race  run over a 4,000 metre plus course.  Edward Jolliffe was comfortably in the first half of finishers placing 22nd in the mob match with 13mins 55secs and 6th amongst the division 2 finishers.  Next in was Michael Alborzpour who was 40th (15mins 21secs) with Zacharia Singer, 47th in 15mins 57secs, and Samuel Rayson, 51st in 16mins 19secs completing the Bicester finishers.

After his fine effort in the County Cross Country Championships the previous weekend Samuel Worfolk finished 26th in the under 17 men’s mob match clocking 21mins 51secs for the 5,500 metre course.

Bicester had three runners in the under 13 boy’s race held over the 2,500 metre plus course with Robert Charlton leading the Bicester charge in 61st (13mins secs).  Other Bicester finishers were Sami Singer (71st in 13mins 39secs) and Django La Porte (77th in 14mins 49secs).
