The Track & Field season runs from April to September and Bicester Athletic Club competes in the following leagues :
The Oxfordshire Junior League is a competition for Under 9 through to Under 17 male and female between local clubs and there are usually 3 meetings during the season.
Bicester competes in the UK Youth Development League which provides 3/4 meetings during the season at U13/U15 age group and combines with Witney to compete at U17/U20 age group.
Bicester also competes in the Heart of England League which provides 3 meetings against local Midlands based clubs for Under 11 through to Under 17 male and female.

Also in early May each year there is the Oxfordshire County Championships where the winners are selected to represent Oxfordshire in the Inter-counties meeting later in the year.
There are other events that you can enter on your own which are called Open meetings, often these are graded so that you compete against people of similar ability rather than by age and gender groupings.

The summer Track & Field training starts around the end of March and runs through to end August. Training takes place on the sports field within The Bicester School opposite the Bicester Leisure Centre. There is a grass track along with an all weather jumps and specialist throws area.
