Bicester AC athletes showed they had wintered well as several of their number produced outstanding efforts in the first outdoor track fixture of the season. Holly Griffiths Brown was in outstanding form in the under 13 events as she placed highly in each of her three track events finishing 2nd in the 100 metres (15.10secs), 3rd in the 200 metres (30.11secs) and 2nd out of the 15 competitors in her specialist event the 800 metres (2mins 40.24secs). Amy Gould continues to progress apace in the 1500 metres and she lowered her personal best to 5mins 36.81 secs finishing 3rd with fellow under 13 competitors Molly Acton and Maisie Silvester also running personal bests. There was a victory for Tom Couzens in the under 13 long jump (4.13m) to go with personal best run in the 800 metre (2mins 37secs for 3rd).

Jake Cherry had an outstanding day as he took the under 15 javelin with a lifetime best throw of 32.97m. Mille Cozens was in outstanding form in the under 11 quad events as she finished 2nd out of the 23 competitors but was actually first in three of the 4 events. She achieved three massive personal bests in the process running 11.9 in the 75 metres, 2mins 6 secs for the 600 metres which was 24 secs faster than her previous best and rounding off with a massive improvement in the long jump (3.53m). Lauren Garside also jumped a personal best in the under 13 long jump (3.88m) to finish 2nd in a very competitive under 13 long jump.
