Tuesday evening saw the end of summer training for another season. With an average of 60 to 70 athletes attending over the two sessions it has been a very successful summer season. The session was made up with fun activities and games as a finale. Thank you to all the coaches, young leaders and parent helpers who have made this summer a great success.

At the end of the session, we held the summer presentations including certificates from the club competition, medals for all 63 competing athletes and club record certificates.

The evening was tinged with sadness as the club said farewell to one of it’s original young leaders, Ben Groves. Who is leaving the club to embark on a new future in the British Army. Ben was presented with an ironing board and other essentials required by a junior soldier. Ben will be greatly missed around the club and has been an integral part of training over the last few years. The Bicester AC committee and coaches wish Ben the best of luck on his new adventure.
