Bicester 3k and 1k Fun Runs 2022
Celebrating Bicester Athletic Club’s 40th anniversary

Junior 1K Start Time: 12:30 PM
Come and join Bicester Athletic Club and celebrate their 40th anniversary whilst raising much needed funds towards our facility updates.
Run, walk or jog our 3K and 1K fun runs with something for all the family and for all abilities!
There will also be athletic activities, fundraising stalls, a licensed bar, refreshments and celebratory presentations for all of you to enjoy whilst we celebrate the local athletics club’s big occasion.

All event details are found below. Booking confirmations and payment details will be sent shortly after receipt of entry.
Race registration/ Number collection opens from 10:30 AM and you must register at least 15 minutes before your run.
All race numbers will be collected on the day. No entries on the day.
3k Road Race – 11:30 Start
Ages: 11 and above
Entry Costs: £8 per runner
The 3k is predominantly on paths starting and finishing in Pingle field and encompasses an interesting and scenic route around Bicester’s Historic market town.
Junior 1k Race – 12:30 Start
Ages: 10 and below. Ages 6 and below MUST run with an adult
Entry Costs: £3 per runner (Parent/ Guardians run for free)
The Junior 1k is simply 1 large lap around the perimeter of the Pingle fields. Safe, simple and easy. Great for a youngsters first time with their parents/ guardians running with them for encouragement.
There will be no parking on site. Nearest car parks can be found here: Car Parks
Directions to Pingle Field: From Bicester town centre (Market Square), follow The Causeway heading towards St Edburgs church. Turn into Church Lane just before the church, at the end of Church Lane, follow Old Place Yard to the end where you will find the entrance to Pingle Field.
Baggage/ Changing Facilities/ Toilets
There will be no official baggage drop. Any items will be left on site at your own risk.
Toilets will be accessible on site.
There will be no designated changing facilities.
There will be first aid on site, situated on Pingle Field for the duration of the celebrations.
RACE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All race entrants must follow instructions given by the race organisers and marshalls.
To take part in our races you must have entered and completed the relevant payment. Collection and wearing of a number during the race is proof of entry.
Note: Over 18 parents/ guardians are able to run with their child in the 1k race, free of charge and without a race number. All other Terms and Conditions still apply.
All entrants understand that they bear all of the risks associated with the stress and strains of the event from a physical perspective. All participants agree that they are fit and healthy enough to compete in the event and will take sole responsibility for their health and wellbeing (including parents or guardians of under 18 entrants) and seek medical consultation and precautions prior to the event where necessary. All entrants agree not to hold the event organisers responsible for health failures and injury that arise during/ following the event. Additionally, entrants will not hold the organisers responsible for the loss or damage of any personal equipment left without care.
Any type of headphones are NOT allowed whilst racing.
No dogs allowed within the races.
No prams, pushchairs or children on bikes/ scooters allowed within the races.
Under 18 entrants must be entered by an over 18 parent or guardian. The over 18 adult agrees to take full responsibility for their child before, during and after the event, including abiding by the events terms and conditions and ensuring the entrant is safe participating in the event. The organisers have no responsibility or liability for the safety of under 18 entrants.
