Three Bicester AC athletes competed in the recently held Nuneaton track and field open meeting, which represented something of a last hurrah for this Summer’s track and field season. All were completing their first ever competitive track and field season.
James Allison has enjoyed some fine moments in his first season’s track and field action and had already set some challenging marks for the season. Competing in heat 4 of the 300m Allison raced to another best. He finished 3rd in the 7 strong field and his time of 40.97secs was an under 15 boy’s EA PB level 6 mark. Allison was also close to his best in the 200m where he placed 4th in heat 8 (25.75secs).
Emeras Mohandas just failed to better his best in heat 2 of the 100m where he finished 3rd out of the 6 competing athletes. Earlier, Emeras’s brother Lucius, competed in his first ever 100m in heat 1 finishing 4th with a time of 17.29secs.
