Bicester AC had competitors in each of the age groups in the last competitive Oxford AC Quad’s track and field competition held recently at Horspath.  Joel Hodges has enjoyed a good season and placed 6th out of the 17 competitors in the under 11 boy’s competition.  His efforts included another good competition in the long jump where he produced the 3rd best leap (3.56m) and the 75 metres where he was 6th fastest with 11.71secs.

One of Bicester’s best performances on the day came from Alexa Brady who produced a magnificent run in the under 9 girl’s 75 metres where she produced the fastest time by an under 9 Bicester AC girl athlete this season (12.56secs).  In the overall competition she finished 5th, which included a further personal best in the howler (11.90m).

Bicester had two competitors in the under 11 girl’s competition with Annie Rose Willis placing 11th, which included a 12.71secs in the 75m, just 0.01secs off her personal best.  Lucia Haverley finished 22nd but achieved personal bests in all 4 disciplines she competed in including a good 600 metres (2mins 29.4secs).

Tom Court was Bicester’s only competition in the under 9 boy’s competition and he performed well to finish 10th, which included three new personal bests in the 75m (13.07secs), long jump (2.77m) and howler (10.36m)
