Three Bicester AC athletes made the journey to Horspath for last Wednesday’s Oxon and Bucks Midweek Open Track and Field Meeting.  Django La Porter finished a good 4th in his heat of the 100m with a new personal best clocking of 12.62secs which was 16 hundreds of a second inside his previous best.

Isla Wooding took in two events and equalled her previous best in the long jump with a leap of 3.57m.  This was the longest jump achieved amongst the under 13 girls competing.  Wooding also competed in the75m hurdles where she finished 5th in her heat clocking 16.93secs.

Amber Busby made her debut at the 1500 metre distance and did well to duck under the 6 minute barrier clocking 5mins 58.18secs.
