Just two Bicester AC athletes made the journey for last Wednesday’s Oxon and Bucks Open Track and Field meeting.  Although both athletes normally compete as under 13 girls, open graded meetings provide heats which can include athletes of all ages.  Isla Wooding, running in her first ever 100m, clocked a swift 14.89secs to finish 4th in her heat of the 100m.  Wooding also took over 2secs off her 200m best in finishing 2nd in her heat in 31.73secs, the joint 3rd  fastest under 13 girl’s time.  Amber Busby has been a model of consistency over 800m this season and once again ran inside 2mins 50secs to finish 7th in her heat (2mins 48.25secs).
