There was a contingent of Bicester AC athletes at the recent Radley AC open track and field meeting held at Tilsley Park.  It has been a long season for the athletes and personal bests were hard to come by.  However there was a superb trio of performances from Olivia Naidu – Johnson.  She was 3rd in her heat of the 200m clocking with an under 15 woman’s EA PB level 6 time of 28.77secs, a personal best time and her first sub 29secs clocking.  Grace jarvey finished 5th in the same heat clocking (29.83secs).   Naidu – Johnson also jumped a season’s best of 4.20m in the long jump, the best leap in her long jump event, as well as finishing 2nd in the heat of the 100m (13.69secs).  Grace Jarvey also contested the long jump where she finished 9th (3.49m).

Erlgean Appiahkorang-Mensah contested two of the track running events and ran a superb race to win his heat of the 200m in a new best and under 15 boy’s EA PB level 5 time of 25.10secs.  He was not able to match his heroics of the previous Wednesday in the 800m but still managed a 3rd place in his heat of the 800m with an under 15 boy’s EA PB level 6 clocking of 2mins 9.64secs.  Cyrus Ariana also contested the 800m and he placed 4th in his heat of the 800m clocking an EA PB level 6 time of  2mins 24.37secs.
