Cyrus Ariana produced his finest athletic performance to date in the weekend’s SEAA under 13/15/17 Championships held at Walton. This event attracted some of the finest young athletes in the South East and Ariana had to navigate an 800m heat on Saturday to get into Sunday’s under 13 boy’s 800m final. Ariana finished 2nd in his heat on the Saturday clocking 2mins 26.27secs, which is a good clocking in its own right. Ariana stepped it up for Sunday’s final finishing a superb 3rd and winning bronze. His time of 2mins 18.05secs was an EA PB level 7 time and not only knocked nearly 6secs off his previous best, he also smashed his own under 13 boy’s 800m club record.
