Bicester AC had two athletes selected to compete for Oxfordshire in the recent South of England Inter County Championships held at Horspath. In the under 17 women’s long jump, Georgia Bower was not far off her best leaping to an EA PB level 5 mark of 4.87m. Erlgean Appiahkorang-Mensah was in a competitive heat of the 800m and was below his best in finishing 9th clocking 2mins 12.03secs, which was an EA PB level 5 mark. This was good experience for both athletes in what is a high level competition.
