Four Bicester AC athletes contested the very popular annual Town and Gown 10km that took place last Sunday in Oxford.  No less than 4,359 runners finished this year’s event and Bicester AC athletes were prominent at the front end of the field.  Isaac Moran, hampered by a niggling knee injury during the cross country season, has shown something of a revival in recent outings.  Running in his first ever competitive 10km race and as under 20 one of the younger athletes in the event, Moran ran a superb race to finish 31st clocking a swift 36mins 06secs which was only a minute off a top ten placing.  Isaac’s twin brother Joshua was one of Bicester AC’s most improved athletes during the Winter season and he again performed well to finish 36th clocking 36 mins 32secs. And Owen Stocker, also an under 20 athlete, although not matching his supreme Winter efforts still run well for 70th clocking 38mins 32secs.  Amy Gould was having her first ever outing at 10km and she ran very well for 260th and a 43mins 26secs clocking.  Gould was 32nd finisher out of the 2,056 female finishers.
