Erlgean Appiahkorang-Mensah lowered his personal best still further in a recent open graded meeting held at Watford. He was put in a competitive race with several older athletes. Although finishing 8th he was less than 2 seconds behind the second placed runner. His clocking of 2mins 6.01secs was not only a new personal best but was just over a second slower than the highest EA PB level which is a 9. This also inches closer to the long held under 15 boy’s club record which currently stands at 2mins 5.2secs.
