Bicester AC had two runners competing in the recent Watford AC Open track and field meeting and both ran new personal bests. Leo Blyton, fresh from his recent cross country heroics, had his first track and field outing of the season. Blyton ran superbly to run a new best and EA PB level 6 time of 4mins 31.19secs in his heat of the 1,500 metres which was over 7 secs faster than his previous best. Blyton won his heat by nearly 3 seconds beating 13 other athletes in the process. Charlie Joiner was running only his 3rd ever 1500 metres and did well to finish 9th in his heat with a 4mins 30.91secs clocking, over 12 secs faster than his previous best.
