If athletes wants to compete, as well as the local athletic leagues and the Oxfordshire County Championships, there are a number of local ‘Open’ meetings where any athlete can compete for a small fee. Often the Open meetings are graded so that races are against similar abilities and not by age and gender, allowing for good competition to go for that personal best!
