Throughout the season there are various open competitions. To take part in these competitions you must enter as an individual and in advance by a specified date. Open competitions are a good way to gain experience and confidence, they are also a good opportunity to improve personal bests. If you take part in any open competitions, please let your team manager know how you get on.

Outdoor Competitions
If athletes wants to compete, as well as the local athletic leagues and the Oxfordshire County Championships, there are a number of local ‘Open’ meetings where any athlete can compete for a small fee. Often the Open meetings are graded so that races are against similar abilities and not by age and gender, allowing for good competition to go for that personal best!
