A new UK Youth Development League (YDL) was introduced for the 2013 season, consisting of an upper age group U17,U20 competition, and a lower age group U13,U15 competition with matches on separate days. The Youth Development League replaced the old National Junior League (for U17 and U20 athletes) and the National Young Athletes League (for U13, U15 and U17 athletes) which were disbanded.
Since 2015 season Bicester AC has been competing as their own club in the Lower Age Group (LAG) U13,U15 competition.
There will be 3 league matches per year for each age group with the U13,U15 match being on a Saturday or Sunday. The U13,U15 matches will have A and B races.
