Bicester AC re-joined the Heart of England League after a nine year absence in the 2013 season. It is known as the “friendly league” and was formed in 1978 to give Midland based clubs local competition to a broader range of athletes from Under 11’s through to Under 17’s.

The original 5 clubs that formed the league were Banbury, Leamington, Rugby, Daventry and Nuneaton. Today there are 29 clubs competing in 3 matches across 4 divisions with promotion and relegation at the end of the season.

We are in division 3. This season we will compete in division 3 against 6 other clubs: BRAT, Bromsgrove & Redditch, Corby,  Kidderminster & Stourport, Tamworth, Witney.
