Bicester AC’s Django La Porte was on fire at the recently held Oxford City midweek open event held at Horspath. La Porte set the fastest time of the evening winning his heat of the 100m in a superb new best time of 10.71secs which was an EA PB level 9 time. This puts La Porte 19th in the current under 20 men’s national rankings for 100m. Finley Colverson-Martin also competed for Bicester and he finished 4th in his heat of the 800m clocking 2mins 21.67secs which was only just short of his personal best.
